Speech & Language Services Built for Real Families

Every service at Sunflower Speech Haven is delivered with the same philosophy — play-based, family-centered, and grounded in the understanding that children communicate best when they feel safe, seen, and unhurried.

Early Language Development
For families with toddlers who aren't yet talking — or whose words seem to be coming slowly. Early intervention is the single most powerful investment you can make for your child's development. I work with late talkers and emerging communicators using naturalistic, play-based approaches that feel like fun.
Ages 0 – 3
Speech Sound Disorders
When your child's speech is difficult to understand — even by the people who love them most — it affects everything. Social confidence. Classroom participation. I address speech sound errors, phonological processes, and motor speech disorders playfully but systematically.
Language Development
For preschoolers building their vocabulary, or school-age children struggling to follow directions, express their ideas, or keep up in the classroom. Language is the foundation — and it's never too early or too late to strengthen it.
Reading & Literacy ⭐ Our specialty
Struggling readers don't have a motivation problem — they have a skills gap. I use a structured literacy approach grounded in the Science of Reading, specific to SLPs, to build phonological and phonemic awareness and comprehension skills — growing strong, motivated readers. This is the work I love most.

Social Communication & ASD
For children with autism and those with social communication differences. I work on functional communication, connection, and self-expression — guided by the child's own interests and strengths.
Fluency & Stuttering
Stuttering is more than a speech pattern — it carries emotional weight that can quietly reshape how a child sees themselves as a communicator. I address both the fluency itself and the feelings around it, building confidence and resilience alongside speech skills.
